Ghetto lathe. This blog being Ad Hoc, the picture is pretty fitting. Test riding some sample wheels for Vault, the wheel profile had about 10mm of (in my opinion) completely redundant outer lip making the wheel highly unpredictable. One jerry-rigged lathe session later and I end up with a centreset* freeride wheel that is smooth sliding, predictable and just plain rad. Time to get some. Next batch of wheels will be pretty much like this from factory. Sorted. * When the wheel is symmetrical about the bearing hub, meaning you can mount it either way to get even wear
